Hello and welcome to my commission page! I’m happy you’re here, and I’ll give you the rundown of what my process is for a new commission.
I accept requests for commissions on a first-come, first-served basis, as a lot of care, consideration, and planning goes into the process.
What do I need for a commission?
If you want me to capture a place near southern Oregon, I will happily paint and gather reference images in person.
If you live further away or want me to paint from a specific image, the best-case scenario would be a high-resolution image or multiple images taken in good light. The image/s must be taken or owned by you. Morning or evening light tends to work the best for this.
If you have a specific size and/or composition in mind we can work with, great! Otherwise I can offer my suggestions based on your needs.
I charge $2 per square inch plus shipping cost for all commissions. If you have a specific size in mind, you can calculate the cost and estimate shipping cost via UPS’ online tool. Here are a few examples of my price for standard canvas sizes:
- 16 x 16 in. = 500 plus cost of shipping
- 18 x 24 in. = 860 plus cost of shipping
- 22 x 28 in. = 1200 plus cost of shipping
- 30 x 40 in. = 2400 plus cost of shipping
After we decide on size and composition, I will begin to paint. My aim is for you or your loved one to receive your commission within 6 weeks after the start of our contract. So far I haven’t missed that goal!
If you want to receive the commission sooner, we can discuss rush pricing further via email. I do my best to accomodate a rush schedule for holidays or special occasions.
If you are interested in a piece of art specially created for you and your loved ones to enjoy for years and years to come, don’t hesitate to get in touch via the form below.
