About The Artwork

Inspired by a beautiful spring sunset behind the lower Table Rock amidst the orchards sprawling near it's base. Rising nearly 800 feet from the north side of the Rogue River, parts of the Lower and Upper Table Rock formations are known to be between 48 and 34 million years old. The native Takelma Indians called the Table Rocks Ti’tanak, and one of their large villages, Ti’lomikh, was a short distance downstream from Lower Table Rock.
